He’s one of the true hands-down iconic greats of modern day cinema. With only Robert De Niro offering any kind of parallel, Pacino has built up a deep and substantial body of work with some utterly memorable performances. Who can forget his Tony Montana in Scarface? Or Michael Corleone in the unmatched Godfather Trilogy? Or how about Officer Frank Serpico? True, not everything Pacino touches turns to gold, but his sheer screen magnetism makes even his lesser works hard to ignore.
